When: Sunday, November 18th (Note, due to risk of wildfires Pt Mugu St Pk is currently closed and the event has has been delayed from its original date of Oct 28th.)
Time: 11am meet up, 11:15 start hike
Where: Point Mugu State Park, parking lot.
Look for Beth (tall, dark-hair, blue shirt) and my car (green, Toyota Echo) or Ajay and his white car with a SoPS sign in the window.
Directions: Drive up the coast north on Pacific Coast Highway from Malibu. About 1.5 miles north of Big Sycamore Canyon camp ground is the Ray Miller Trailhead, which is used to access La Jolla Valley. (Lat:34.08396 Lon:-119.03565). It is about a 45-minute drive from Santa Monica, so leave yourself plenty of time to get there on time.
Carpooling: If you need a ride or can provide one, please indicate that in your R.S.V.P. and include your area of town. I'll connect people up via email.
Other details: Bring lunch and at least a liter of water. Feel free to bring some post-hike treat to share with the group if you'd like to.
