Postdoc, Neuropsychology of Brain Plasticity in Magdeburg (Germany)

FULL-TIME SCIENTIST POSITION available for a postdoc in the field of neuropsychology or cognitive neuroscience as a group leader to direct research on visual system plasticity and rehabilitation. We develop and test new methods of vision diagnostics and treatment to achieve vision restoration in patients with visual field loss after damage to the optic nerve or brain (stroke) combined with brain connectivity analyses (EEG and MRI). The UCLA Institute for Society and Genetics (ISG) is recruiting a post-doctoral scholar as part of an NSF-funded research project (Grant #1322299) on public participation in science and technology.  The one-year position (renewable for one additional year pending positive review) is for a researcher who can engage in qualitative and/or quantitative analysis exploring the changing role of participation by publics and citizens in science, engineering and technology. Opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Tumor Biology at UCLA

The Wadehra Laboratory in the Department of Pathology at the University of California, Los Angeles is seeking an outstanding post-doctoral fellow to work in the area of cancer biology. Our laboratory has 2 main focuses: 1) understanding how tetraspan proteins promote cancer stem cell formation and, 2) creating designer antibodies. Our work is funded for creating novel IgG1 antibodies for breast and ovarian cancers, and we are working with both in vitro and in vivo models.
