• Indian Ocean live in concert

  Hello,
  The Indo-Rock fusion concert of the season is here and here's your chance to get the early bird tickets before they sell out! "Indian Ocean" is performing at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 12th (3pm to 6:30pm). The Association for India's Development (AID), Los Angeles Chapter (http://la.aidindia.org) is proud to welcome you all to an evening of great music, great food, and stunning acoustics!
  Indian Ocean is a contemporary rock fusion music band from India. Some of their musical accomplishments over the past decade are Indian Ocean (1993), Desert Rain (1997), Kandisa (2000), Jhini (2002) and the films Black Friday (2004) and Bhoomi (2008). Their sellout concerts bring audiences to their feet as they inspire the mind and soul. Early bird ticket prices for this concert start at $20 (limited number of student tickets). Delicious Indian food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

  The concert is a part of a nationwide tour of 6 concerts to help AID ( http://aidindia.org) , a non-profit organization, raise funds for the many development projects we support in India. Founded in 1991, AID has over 40 chapters and over 1000 volunteers in the U.S. AID is a 501(C)(3) volunteer movement supporting non-government organizations in India at the grassroots level and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources, health, women's empowerment and social justice.
