INTRO: The UCLA Office for Protection of Research Subjects (OPRS) is offering a
workshop for postdoctoral scholars that are involved with human subjects
research and the IRB Review at UCLA.

DETAILS: The workshop is a basic introduction to human subject protection. The
intention is to demystify IRB review by providing an overview of
relevant history, ethical principles and regulations, and by explaining
how the process works (including tips for getting started and avoiding
common pitfalls).

Your attendance and feedback are encouraged in order to help the
organizers plan additional IRB workshops to cover specific topics of
interest to postdoctoral researchers in more detail.

VENUE: This workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28th, from 4 - 6 p.m. in
the CHS Auditorium (Room 13-105). Please RSVP online at:
