A postdoctoral fellowship is available for a NSF-funded project on consumer-resource dynamics. The objective is to develop theory on multiple coexistence mechanisms in communities with competition and predation.
The appointment is for two years starting in January 2008.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in mathematical biology, theoretical ecology, applied mathematics or some related discipline, and have skills in both analytical and numerical approaches to population dynamics.
