Recipe tips

Moms,

Can I ask if anyone has a favorite dish that your toddler/child loves eating? Lately I have run out of creative ideas of tasty goodies for my toddler (or else he is letting me know his mama's cooking is going haywire). So if you would like to share a few receipies I would greatly appreciate it.

N.B.: the faster the preparation process the more appealing to me :-)

Thanks.

Re: Recipe tips

The speed of preparation is indeed a major concern ;-)

here's a 3 minutes healthy and balanced vegetarian menu :
- diced smelly cheese (camembert, gorgonzola, ...)
- diced bread or crackers
- raw veggies (romaine leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, ...)
- fruits (apple, pear)
- olives
- nuts

No fork needed :-)
I buy fruits&greens organic, so that I don't mind about peeling.

Another very quick recipe :

boil salted water, pour on a bowl of couscous (level of water must be slightly above level of couscous), wait 5 minutes that water is absorbed (not too long, otherwise it will "cake"), add some olive oil or butter, work it with a fork, dice and add whatever leftover is in your fridge. Delicious with anchovies or tuna. Try with diced cheese and raisins.

The last one is a Dad's recipe :
use the pizza dough from trader joe, learn to work it, spread tomato paste, whatever you want, cheese and olives. Cooked in 12 minutes, plus 5 minutes preparation.

let me know if that works
Fab
