Someone has posted a message which says contact me but I see no email address?

We try and encourage people not to post their email addresses or any other personal information on public pages. Instead this information is kept in the users' profile. Only registered users who are logged into the site can see other users' email addresses. This way spam bots and other web trawling bots cannot find your address.

To find out more about a forum poster you can click on their name in the upper left corner of forum posts, or upper right corner of news posts. If you hover the mouse over the name and it changes color you know this is a link to more information. If you do not have an account you can get one here.

To respect people's privacy we also allow members to withhold their email address entirely. If this is the case you can post a message to the forum requesting that the person contact you. Please check that you tick the "Allow other members to view my email address" box in your Account Settings.
