Would you like to have a free MRI scan of your heart? Do you know of someone else who might?

Time committment:
-approx. 1 hour

Basic exclusion criteria:
-pregnant/possibly-pregnant women
-presence of metal in your body (other than dental fillings)
-claustrophobia
(more details may be obtained when making an appointment)

Does it hurt?:
- No. It is completely non-invasive - no injections or needle-pricks. No radiation.
All you would have to do is lie completely still inside the scanner tube (open at both ends). EKG leads will be placed on your chest, and you will be given breathing instructions via intercom. You will be in communication with me, or with whoever is performing the scan, at ALL times.

Images:
-A copy of your scan (readable on standard PCs/Macs) will be burned on CD for you. Unfortunately we cannot provide a clinical report, as this is strictly for research purposes.
