Female roommate needed

I currently live in a 2bd/1ba, but I would like to look for a 2bd/2ba. My current roommate is going back to Brazil on August 26, so in the short term you can move into the current room as early as Sunday, August 27th if you need a place to stay. The room has furniture in it, but I can get rid of it if you have your own. The rent at the current apartment is $1250 per month, or $625 each including utilities. However, please keep in mind that I want to move out of this apartment because I've lived there for 3 years now and it is very, very noisy and it only has 1 bathroom. The benefit is that there will be a place to stay while looking for another apartment.

A little about myself: I love music, culture, dancing, great food and having fun in general. I occasionally like to have friends over for dinner and I always check with and invite my roommate. I graduated from UCLA last year with a degree in Latin American Studies so I speak Spanish and some Portuguese. I currently work in the Graduate Division at UCLA and I will either stay working at the university or do a Ph.D. in Sociocultural Anthropology. I’m not really into TV or movies. I prefer to go to concerts and live performances. I’m pretty easy going and I love to laugh! I’m really looking for someone who I can also consider a friend and not just a roommate!

Housing: In a perfect world I would like a 2bd/2ba in Santa Monica or Culver City with 2 car parking and a yard. I like to keep the common areas neat, but I’m not crazy about it since it still has to be livable. It doesn’t bother me when there are dishes in the sink or shoes by the door. I prefer to buy my own food rather than share. Although I don’t mind it if you’re out of milk, eggs, or whatever and need to borrow some! I have an apartment full of furniture, so let me know what your furniture needs would be.

Please email if you are interested!
Thanks, Ann
