Research participants wanted for neuroimaging study (get more than $30 + images of your brain!)
Our functional MRI study involves learning to categorize japanese characters and involves 2 sessions over 2 consecutive days: the first session involves a training on the computer at the Psychology Dept. (Franz Hall) at UCLA (1.5 hours), the second session is an MRI scan at the Brain Mapping Center on campus (1 hour). you will get a total of $30 for completing both days of the experiment plus the potential to earn up to $15 more depending on how you do on the task. We'll also give you a free picture of your brain!
(note that we can't include you if you can read in any asian languages, have any metal implants, are LEFT handed, or are on psychiatric medications (e.g., antidepressants))
