Hi,
I am looking for an accountant to help me prepare the tax. I don't know if UCLA has a referral list of accountants I could consult with. If anyone know a good one in the neighborhood, please let me know. Thanks.
I go to Dr. Hal Fairchild for tax preparation. Along with doing taxes, he is a Professor at Pitzer College. Hal is great with students, because he knows the different deductions an academic can claim. Before going, I would recommend itemizing all of your receipts into different categories (i.e., subscriptions to national organizations, travel to conferences, office supplies), this makes the process go much faster.
