A full-time, post-doctoral fellowship position in UCLA laboratory is immediately available. The fellow will be studying the neural networks present within the spinal cord and leveraging this understanding to facilitate recovery of motor function after spinal cord injury.
Investigations will be conducted in the rat model and human subjects. Qualified candidate should have PhD and/or MD with strong background in neurophysiology, molecular biology, mouse/rat surgery, functional kinematic testing and data analysis. We are seeking independent, motivated individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
