Postdoc at UCLA

The UCLA Social and Affective Neuroscience Laboratory, led by Dr. Naomi Eisenberger, is looking to recruit a postdoctoral scholar interested in the area of Health Neuroscience. This position would be for a 2-3 year appointment starting in the Fall of 2016 (start date is flexible).

The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has had experience running neuroimaging studies and analyzing neuroimaging data (programming experience, such as with matlab, is a plus) but who would like additional training or additional publications in the area of Health Neuroscience. This postdoctoral scholar would work on analyzing and publishing data from several pre-existing datasets that involve neural and immune assessments (e.g., inflammatory markers, inflammatory gene expression) as well as several datasets that involve patient populations (e.g., breast cancer survivors). Although the postdoctoral scholar would work primarily with Dr. Eisenberger, this person would also have connections with other Principal Investigators who collaborate with Dr. Eisenberger on projects assessing neural-immune relationships (Dr. Michael Irwin, Dr. Julienne Bower, Dr. Steve Cole). In addition to publishing based on pre-existing datasets, the postdoctoral scholar would also have opportunities to conduct their own research project.
