Fridays Off the 405 feat. King Britt and Power Douglas

As the sun sets this evening, the Getty Center transforms its courtyard into a party promenade, attracting a lively crowd of LA's work-weary, early-starting weekend warriors, and everyone in between. This month's edition of Flavorpill's Fridays Off the 405 features a killer double-header. New York breakbeat trio Power Douglas sling lo-fi, uptempo, spazzy grooves, and Philly's King Britt headlines with all sounds soulful and electric. As comfortable with funk and hip-hop as he is with deep house, his highness brings a whimsical, dubby charm to the turntables.
