ADRx seeks an outstanding Scientist to join our research team to help design and implement a program aimed at the therapeutic drug discovery of systemic and neurological amyloid diseases. The Scientist will be a strong individual contributor and team-player in the development of novel therapeutics. The candidate will have primary responsibility for the development and evaluation of molecules designed in silico to the identification of potential clinical candidates.
The duties of the job include experimental design and execution, analysis and interpretation of data, issue resolution and presentation (verbal/written) of findings to the team. The candidate will have an important role in the generation of key datasets that enable the nomination of clinical drug candidates.
A flexible attitude and approach to work and a sense of fascination about science are key attributes in this start-up company.
Doctorate degree, with 3+ years of scientific experience
Evidence of independent scientific ability (e.g., post-doctoral training), a track record of scientific accomplishments
Direct experience with structure-activity relationship analysis of drug candidates
Experience in conducting characterization of molecules using HPLC
Expertise in various techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology
Knowledge in protein structures
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
No travel or relocation allowance is available.
