ADRx seeks an outstanding Scientist to join our research team engaged in therapeutic drug discovery of amyloid diseases. The Scientist will be a strong individual contributor and team-player in the development of novel therapeutics. The candidate will have primary responsibility for evaluating therapeutic candidates by bringing to bear cutting edge technologies to understand the mechanism of action of molecules designed to treat neurological and systemic amyloid disorders.
The duties of the job include experimental design and execution, analysis and interpretation of data, issue resolution, and verbal and written presentation of findings to the team. The candidate will have an important role in the generation of key datasets that enable the identification and progression of clinical drug candidates.

Doctorate degree, with 3+ years of scientific experience
Evidence of independent scientific ability (e.g., post-doctoral training) with excellent track record of scientific contribution
Degree in cell and molecular biology or related discipline
Strong skills in cell culture, cell transfection, virus production, cell transduction, molecular biology, cell signaling, cell-based assay design, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry
Experience with the cell biology of metabolic and/or cardiac disorders and animal models of disease
Knowledge of antibody and/or peptide drug development
Experience in leading and managing associates and technicians
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
No travel or relocation allowance is available.
