Liberal Arts Colleges are 4-year institutions that focus primarily on teaching and preparing undergraduates for post-Baccalaureate pursuits. Most Liberal Arts Colleges requires undergraduate research and obtain goverment/private grants for this purpose. To further explore potential academic careers outside R1 research institutions, the SoPS has invited faculty members of various Southern California Liberal Arts Institutions to serve in a panel that will explore various issues related to working in a Liberal Arts Institution. Unfortunately, the tape ran out and so the entire event was not captured - sorry!
